This week’s presentation- weekly writing week #13

1–2 minutes

This week in FYS183, we presented on what our final projects would be… I thought it would be cool to show letters ranging from ancient history, to present day. In hindsight- I am worried that the point of my presentation didn’t come across very well. I am worried that I used too many examples and way less explaining than I should have. However, I took this knowledge with me while working on my final long-read project.

I realized that while it wasn’t all examples, I still used a ton of quotes from the letters I was referencing. I went back and I rewrote certain parts so I only gave maybe one or two quotes per section. This presentation really gave me insight on what I should do to improve my final project.

Now, reflecting on the gratitude letters we soon have to write- I wish I could write one to each and every person I am grateful for, however that would take days and days to finish. I have a few people in mind, but I want to send it to someone I haven’t expressed gratitude for in a while.

In all, this week was quite the relaxing one in FYS183, and I look forward to the last few classes left in the semester.
