This week in FYS 183, we looked at letters from history. This was one of my favorite topics we’ve covered in this class and I’m excited to learn more.
I particularly enjoyed the 3-2-1 slides. This was a fun and creative way to summarize our letters.
I found all of the historical letters to be very interesting because it gives more context about WHO these people that we read about in history books were. It shows more of their personality and I find that really neat.
On Thursday, we chose historical letters to look over. I chose a letter from Elvis Presley to Richard Nixon and I am very excited to look into this letter.
Overall, week 8 was a very good week with some very interesting topics and I am excited to learn more!
